We won the BRONZE STUDENT ACADEMY AWARD!
We spent half the summer waiting for one message: would “Kamathipura Express” make it into the TOP 3 of the Student Academy Awards?
Finally, it came.
WE HAVE A STUDENT OSCAR!
There was only one question left: gold, silver, or bronze?
Regardless of the color of the medal, our joy was enormous. We already knew that our students’ film had made it into the top three in the world. But from that moment on, the countdown began all over again — this time to the awards ceremony in Toronto, held during TIFF.
And today, we finally know.
“Kamathipura Express” has received the BRONZE STUDENT ACADEMY AWARD!
We have so many reasons to be proud. “Kamathipura Express” is definitely one of the biggest ones. This is exactly why we do what we do — so that our students can spread their wings with us, and then fly out into the world. Sometimes, really far away.
Leon, Witek, Oskar, Mia, and the entire team — congratulations from the bottom of our hearts, and thank you for this beautiful cinematic journey!
