We win PRIX EUROPA!
Wonderful news from Berlin!
A film by a graduate of the Film and Video Game Creation High School and the Cinematography program at the Warsaw Film School has been honored with the prestigious PRIX EUROPA award!
“Dancing King”, directed and shot by Igor Kuna, tells the story of Bronisław Pisarski, the disco king of Skarżysko-Kamienna. The colorful personality of Mr. Bronisław and the film’s experimental documentary form first won over Polish audiences (at the Młodzi i Film Festival in Koszalin and Przeźrocza Festival in Bydgoszcz) - and are now earning international recognition!
The film was nominated in the Student Award - Rising Star VIDEO category and received the highest number of audience votes. Another nomination also went to “Fuck Them All” by Polina Biliaieva.
